Welcome to Bangor Blades

Welcome to Bangor Blades.  We are offering an opportunity to young persons born in the years 1990 to 2000 (Ages 7-17) to learn the art of Foil fencing. It is our aim to provide a fun atmosphere and also tuition so as to develop skills for fencing.  There will be opportunities to compete in tournaments relevant to age groups. The coaches are British Academy Fencing (BAF) and British Fencing Association (BFA) trained and registered. We will also have visiting Coaches from the UK and Europe/USA as and when possible.  Also we will endeavour to have the NI coach Mike Westgate or Sean Walton to visit the club, (Commitments allowing).

Bangor Blades is also closely linked with the newly formed Belfast Fencing Club, a club which will be coached by Sean Walton NI Coach.  This is to be held on Wednesday evenings from 7.30pm-10pm. For details e-mail Belfast Fencing Club
